Purchased Before Microsoft, Nokia Android Trial

Failed in the smartphone market, Nokia sold at Microsoft valued at USD 7.2 billion. Apparently just before the purchase agreement, Nokia has been testing a prototype cell phone based on Android.

According to media reports the New York Times, there is a possibility that Nokia wants to switch to adopt Android in 2014. Because the Windows mobile phone that had been their production does not go grabbing significant interest.

According to sources the New York Times, Microsoft knows that Nokia is working on Android handsets. It was not clear whether their reaction to the project. Or may even be a reason for Microsoft to buy Nokia's glancing soon Android.

Under the leadership of CEO Stephen Elop, Nokia prefer to use Windows Phone rather than Android. In fact, Android's status as the most popular OS in the world so many parties felt Elop wrong decision.

Originally became ruler of the smartphone market, Nokia's market share stayed 3% in the first half of 2013.
