Nokia Normandy listed on Vietnam retailer's site with access to some Google services

The largest online retailer in Vietnam, The Gioididong.com, has posted a listing for the Nokia Normandy. A Nokia Asha like handset purportedly powered by a forked version of Android, the listing posts specs already leaked for the device. That would include the 4 inch screen with 480 x 854 resolution, the dual-core 1GHz Snapdragon 200 processor under the hood, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of native storage. A 32GB microSD slot is available. Dual SIM card support is included, and a 5MP snapper is on back.

Surprisingly, the listing mentions that the phone will have support for Google Now, the Google Play Store,YouTube and other Google applications. If true, this would be quite a surprise since a forked version of Android usually doesn't include support for Google services. There is the possibility that the features used in the listing were merely copied and pasted from another Android phone.

The listing doesn't mention any pricing information or a launch date. According to master leaker evleaks, the device is going to be called the Nokia X when it comes to market.
