Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) in partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Google, give courses in entrepreneurship development of technology incubators and mobile applications.
MIT has a program called Accelerating Information Technology Innovation (AITI). The program aims to promote technology development in developing countries by helping young entrepreneurs focused on mobile and internet technologies.
The program includes a curriculum of technical, business competitions, guest lectures and networking events to help participants realize their ideas.
Upon program completion, participants are expected to be able to display the results of their entrepreneurial ideas, not only to the family and their friends, but also for potential investors.
The program will be taught by MIT students and instructors and will exchange knowledge with GMU faculty, in order to allow the oldest university in Indonesia include MIT-AITI course component into the school syllabus.
Starting on June 24, the program is also called MIT-AITI will run for 8 weeks and includes 30 GMU students along with 10 students from partner universities such as the local Institute of Technology, State Islamic University Sunan STMIK Amikom Kalidjaga and Yogyakarta.

Began as an entrepreneurial and technology education program for African students, MIT-AITI has sent 130 MIT instructors to teach more than 1,600 students in four continents, as well as the course is successfully added to the partner university. MIT-AITI program supporter since 2010, Google has sponsored this program in Africa and Asia and produces more than 80 applications, the formation of 9 startups, four companies received venture capital capital (VC) as well as offer guidance and incubation of other VC.
